National Geographic Channel's seminal documentary 'Great Migrations' offered us a unique first-time-ever opportunity to feature high-impact creative on the homepages of both the channel site and the National Geographic Society site. RED used Maya, After Effects and Flash to develop this stunning takeover ad. The visually rich, iconic, and compelling 3D butterfly developed and animated by RED helped generate awareness for the series and provided a great opportunity for collaboration among teams and disciplines at National Geographic.
